Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become part of our daily routines as we enjoy technological advances in everyday life and enterprise surroundings. Trusted AI Coalition will redefine AI for a new Washington. AI innovations have created new and exciting opportunities paired with significant complexities unlike ever before. Promising opportunities, firm expectations, and confidence for algorithms is crucial for responsible AI output. Combining our resources, Trusted AI Coalition aims to monitor federal policy, provide strategic analysis, gather intelligence, create intentional messaging and collateral, and engage in lobbying efforts when resourceful to advance the Coalition’s goals.
The establishment of the National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) reflects a broader recognition that the U.S. must develop a coherent AI governance posture — particularly as the EU AI Act sets new global benchmarks for how consequential AI systems are regulated, and trading partners and competitors alike begin aligning to its standards.
For American policymakers, the mandate is clear: AI systems deployed in high-stakes domains must be demonstrably fair, reliable, transparent, and designed to prevent harm. Advocacy organizations, civil rights groups, and consumer watchdogs have raised substantive concerns around algorithmic bias, data privacy, unauthorized data use, and the opacity of automated decision-making — concerns that the policy community can no longer treat as peripheral.
Trust in AI is achievable, but it must be earned through verifiable safeguards: robust security architecture, independent auditing, and accountability mechanisms that give affected communities meaningful recourse. The Trusted AI Coalition advances this agenda through targeted policymaker engagement, evidence-based education, and strategic relationship-building — translating complex technical realities into policy frameworks that are both workable and protective.
The Coalition will include top AI industry leaders and innovators. Our members will be directly involved in developing approaches that ensure AI systems are built fairly, robustly, comprehensively, maintaining accountability, and aligning with essential values for society. In addition, Trusted AI Coalition will partner with members to identify their unique stories that further their brand reputation and how they are leveraging AI in trusted and ethical manners. We offer proposed memberships to suit a variety of needs and budgets.
